If you love food, you love brunch. If you're a chef, you love making brunch. Not many chefs around here get to do brunch as often as they'd like. We want to change that with our new Brimmer Brunch Series, a marriage of two of the most beautiful things on earth: food and music.
Each brunch will feature a talented local chef doing their take on brunch.
Each brunch will feature talented musicians playing some of their favorite tunes.
And each brunch will delight you with a craft Bloody Mary bar (complete with the freshest and most delicious fixins), specialty mimosas, coffee, orange juice and plenty of other beverages for all ages.
Southern Comfort Brunch by Chef Dustin Allen, featuring a true farm-to-plate Southern brunch with whole food ingredients from 100% local growers and producers.
Kind of Blue at 60: A Tribute to the Miles Davis Classic, featuring Edgar Crockett (trumpet), Dan Burke (tenor saxophone), Larry Harms (alto saxophone), Derel Monteith (piano), Andy Crawford (bass), and Jason Brannon (drums), who will perform faithful renditions of all the pieces on Kind of Blue in the same sequence they appear on the album.
A craft Bloody Mary bar from Slow Hand with all the fixins, featuring Bloody Marys with all fresh ingredients just harvested from local growers, smoked on-site at Slow Hand and mixed to perfection for the Midwest’s best Bloody...farm to palate.
We're going BIG with our series kickoff on Sunday, October 6. Grab a ticket, come anytime between 10am-2pm and stay as long as you'd like. If we're lucky, the sun will be shining, the nana wall will be wide open and the fresh autumn air will fill the Betty Jayne along with the sounds of Miles Davis and the tastes of an authentic Southern brunch...and incredible Bloody Marys.
